Metalwork

Yesterday myself and Tom cut ‘r’ shapes out of the rake and spade heads so they can be attached to the handle.

I finished drilling the aluminium plate and glued the hollow pole into place.  It has been left to dry before we glue it to the back of the bike.

The pedals spokes were cut off and the handles have been completed.  The aluminium plates were glued onto the sides of the cut off handlebars and the rods were inserted after the handlebars had been filled with an expanding glue.  The glue sets overnight so will be ready when we’re back in the workshop on Monday with the rods stuck in place.
