Bike Progress

Today the pedals of the bikes were completed.  Holes were drilled next to where the pedals used to be.  The holes are wide enough for the tool heads to go through and spin. They are attached on the other side by a screw that screws through the tool handles and tomorrow we will put the same attachment on the outside so they do not slide through in the opposite direction as well.

The spade head attachment has been riveted in place because the glue fixing is a bit dodgy.

We have also riveted the brakes back on because we are unsure of how they were previously attached…

The other brake could not be riveted on because the metal was unable to be drilled.

Both the handles have fallen off so we are looking at how to attach them again.

We have attached this aluminium plate to the front of the bike where the rake head attachment will be riveted in place.
