Today my pen toy design came off the 3D printer. The lid to the pen didn’t quite come out properly so I had to drill a slight hole in the cap where the printer had filled it in and file it down slightly. The lid is not quite right as it should have a friction fit, holding itself to the pen, however, it is not tight enough for this and just falls off. The arrow on the other hand came out very well. I set it all up, cutting an elastic band and tying it through the holes in the lid. On trying it out it fires very well but because the lid does not sit on it is quite hard to hold it and use it. It is easy enough, however, to balance it on the table and fire it but it would be easier if the cap sat in place…
